Tilly is an English theatre designer based New York and a third generation theatre artist - hailing from Irish and Greek actors and musicians.
Awards include The Balsamo Grant for Emerging Immigrant Artists, The Irish Arts Design Award, Irish Times Theatre Award Nomination and The Onstage Critics Award
Upcoming work includes 'The Great Leap' by Lauren Yee directed by Taibi Magar at The Atlantic Theatre, Theresa Rebeck's 'Seared' directed by Tony nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel at Williamstown, "Thanksgiving Play', by Larrisa Fast Horse, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel and 'Noura' by Heather Raffo directed by Joanna Settle at Playwrights Horizons.
In New York she has worked with companies such as Roundabout Theatre Company, The Atlantic, Ars Nova, WP Theatre, Red Bull Theater Company, Clubbed Thumb, Here Arts Centre, The Barrow Group, New Georges and La Mama Theatre.
Regionally her work has been seen at Williamstown Theatre Festival, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Wilma, Shakespeare Theatre DC, Goodspeed Opera, Two Rivers Theatre Company, Trinity Repertory Company, Pittsburgh Public. and Westport County Playhouse. Opera credits include The Boston Lyric Opera, The Philadelphia Opera, The Curtis School of Music and The Juliliard School of Vocal Arts.
Tilly has been a guest artist and guest designer at Duke University, University of Rochester, Rutgers University, New York University, Brown-Trinity Graduate program, Fordham University , PPAS in NYC, Trinity College Dublin. She has taught at Brown University's directing MFA program, University of Rochester and is a forthcoming guest lecturer at NYU Abu Dabi.
She received her M.F.A from NYU Tisch School.
